Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lex Speech Recognition Plugin 1.1.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.
The plugin is based on the following components:
- UniMRCP Server 1.5.0
- AWS SDK 1.5.16
The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:
- Red Hat / CentOS 7
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
This release allows message output format and timezone be specified either globally from configuration or per individual request. The release also fixes processing of vendor-specific parameters passed from GVP.
The detailed list of changes introduced in this release follows.
New Features
- Allow message output format be optionally specified either globally from configuration file or per individual request via Vendor-Specific-Parameters with the parameter name set to 'output-format' and values 'PlainText', 'CustomPayload', 'SSML', 'Composite'.
- Allow timezone used to resolve dates be optionally specified either globally from configuration file or per individual request via Vendor-Specific-Parameters with the parameter name set to 'timezone' and values such as 'America/Los_Angeles', 'Europe/Dublin'.
Fixed Problems
- Strip off double quotes from the values of vendor-specific parameters passed from GVP.
Configuration Parameters
- Added a new optional attribute 'output-format' to the element 'streaming-recognition'.
- Added a new optional attribute 'timezone' to the element 'streaming-recognition'.
Miscellaneous
- Updated the Usage Guide to reflect the changes introduced in this release.
