I am delighted to share with you the redesigned website having a completely new look and enhanced, much more flexible functionality in the back-end.
As you may know, the UniMRCP infrastructure was built entirely upon the Google services. I started the project in 2008 from ground up by using Google Code for a source repository, Google Groups for discussions, and Google Sites for a basic website. Putting together all these services in a consolidated environment tremendously helped me maintain the project being focused mostly on the development.
However, I always thought and felt the need for a better infrastructure. Since the capabilities of Google Sites are somewhat limited and having Google discontinued the ability to create new downloads on Google Code, I have decided to take a bit different approach. We will continue to use the repository and the issue tracker on Google Code as well as Google Groups for discussions. Though, downloads and all the other pages and tools will be hosted separately.
There are much more to say and discuss. So, please stay tuned. As for the time being, I hope you will enjoy the new website as I do. Please feel free to send your comments, feedback and also participate in a poll running on the home page.
Thanks for visiting!
